Description
The plant thrives in fertile and moist soils. The kiwi in order to thrive needs areas with mild winters and hot, humid summers. As a result, it is grown mainly in Pieria, near to the river of Sperchios, in the areas of Arta, Fthiotida, Pella and on the island of Crete. Our kiwis are from Pieria and they are P.G.I. (Protected Geographical Indication) products. The fruit grows in spring and is harvested in mid-October.
